15 and 20 minutes dessert hits

1486723_10153581366500571_476067391_nXmas is knocking on the door. We have one more week left. Oh Lord! The tension is growing in every households. We have no time for preparing sophisticated, old fashioned cakes hence here you are two tips how we can spare time and yet can make excellent dessert hits.

15 minutes triple layer mud pie

Ingredients for 10 persons: 3 squares Baker’s semi sweet chocolate, melted, 1/4 cup canned sweetened condensed milk, 1 oreo pie crust, 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted, 2 cups milk, 2 pkg Jell-O Chocolate instant pudding, 1 tub Cool whip whipped topping, divided

Mix the chocolate and condensed milk. Pour into crust, sprinkle with pecans. Beat milk and pudding mixes with whisk for 2 min, spoon 1 1/2 cups over pecans. Stir half the cool whip into remaining pudding, spread over pudding in crust. Top with remaining cool whip.

Regrigerate 3 hours.

Ingredients: 1 Philadelphia cream cheese, 3 cups cold milk, 2 packs jello-vanilla instant pudding, 1 tub cool whip whipped topping, 48 Nilla wafers or 24 ladyfingers, half cup brewed coffee, 2 squares baker semi sweet chocolate, grated, 1 cup fresh raspberries

Beat cream cheese with mixer until creamy. Gradually add milk and pudding mixes. Stir in 2 cups cool whip. Line a big bowl with 24 waffers, drizzle with the coffee. Top with half the pudding mixture and half of the chocolate. Repeat layers starting with wafers. Top with remaining cool whip and raspberries. Regfrigerate 2 hours. Makes 16 servings.
